This weekend is the Hull Open Studios, and our member Michael Domina is having an open Studio event on Saturday and Sunday from 10 – 3 pm.

The Weymouth Art Association website has been polished up a little. It still has the same feel, however I have added a few things, as well as taken some away. Lets start with the new,
I have added this blog, this will be the source of news and a great place to write recaps of current events. We can also post pictures, and add our own personal opinions too. We can have many contributors to this blog, kind of like how a newspaper has many articles written by different reporters. If you are a current art association member, and are interested in becoming a blog contributor, please email me at info@lizboston.com, and we can make that happen!
I have posted the newsletter online, you will see a newsletter tab in the menu at the top of the website. This section will not only have the current newsletter, but it will also list past newsletters as well. You may read them online or print them out right from the website.
The Members section, now lists all members of the WAA, and links to their websites if applicable. If you are a member and would like us to link to your website, please send me an e-mail and let me know. I will gladly add your link!
Now on to the parts I took away, I don’t think they will be missed, I removed the calendar, only because it wasnt being updated, and the current events are now all listed under schedule.
The Schedule section of the website, is combining the old categories ’calendar’ and ‘meetings’. In this section you will find an up to date listing of all WAA events and future events.
I removed the Art Work section, the exhibits section will be where we will post pictures of art work and pictures of current and past exhibits.
I removed the Awards section, the awards will be listed under the exhibits section with the appropriate exhibit.
Thats about it. I hope you enjoy the new website, it will be kept up to date, and will be a great new resource for our members!
